Tier Program - Part 2 (Ways To Redeem)

Configuring Loyalty Tiers and Redemption Rules

This guide provides a step-by-step process to configure loyalty tiers and their corresponding redemption rules in Nector.io, ensuring a balanced and rewarding customer experience across all tiers—Bronze, Silver, and Gold.

Step 1 - Understand the Objective

Before configuring redemption rules, ensure that earning rules for the loyalty tiers (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) have already been set up. This process focuses on defining redemption rules, which determine how customers can redeem their earned points. There are two ways to configure these rules.

Step 2 - Choose a Redemption Setup Method

You can either:

• Create a universal redemption rule applicable to all tiers, or

• Customize redemption rules per tier to better reflect each tier’s earning potential.

Recommendation: Tier-based customization provides more control and aligns with customer value segmentation.

Step 3 - Review Existing Redemption Settings

Navigate to the Program section and open the Redemption Rule Interface. Here, review any existing redemption configurations applied during checkout to understand your current setup.

Step 4 - Verify Redemption Display on the Floating Widget

Access the Floating Widget page to inspect how the current redemption rule appears to users on the storefront. This helps ensure customers see accurate discount and point conversion details.

Step 5 - Adjust Discount Caps by Tier

By default, 1 point = ₹1, and the maximum discount cap is ₹200. Currently:

Bronze tier earns an extra 20% coins

Silver tier earns an extra 50% coins

Gold tier earns an extra 80% coins

To improve value, increase the Bronze tier’s discount cap to ₹300, keeping other tiers dynamic.

Step 6 - Create a New Redemption Rule

Once the adjustments are made, Nector.io automatically generates a new redemption rule reflecting the updated ₹300 cap for the Bronze tier.

Step 7 - Select the Updated Rule

From the rule list, select the newly created redemption rule to proceed with configuration.

Step 8 - Apply Conditions and Proceed to Settings

Confirm that the conditions from the existing setup are correctly applied, then navigate to the Advanced Settings Menu for further customization.

Step 9 - Assign Tier Restrictions

In Advanced Settings, locate the Tier Restriction option. Select the loyalty tier (e.g., Bronze) to which this redemption rule applies. This ensures each tier follows the appropriate earning and redemption logic.

Step 10 - Save Your Configuration

Click Save to confirm and apply all modifications. This step ensures that your rule changes are stored and activated in the system.

Step 11 - Verify Bronze Tier Configuration

The Bronze tier redemption rule is now configured successfully. Review it to ensure all discount and point conversion details are accurate.

Step 12 - Configure Silver and Gold Tier Rules

Repeat the same process to set up Silver and Gold tier redemption rules, adjusting discount limits to suit their respective earning multipliers.

Step 13 - Confirm Tier-Based Redemption Limits

After setup, your tiers should reflect the following maximum discounts:

Bronze: ₹300

Silver: ₹500

Gold: ₹800

These limits apply to both the Floating Widget and the Rewards Page.

Step 14 - Configure Rules for Go-Kwik Checkout

If you are using Go-Kwik Checkout, navigate to Integrations > Checkout > Go-Kwik page. Here, replicate the redemption rules you’ve set up for each loyalty tier.

Step 15 - Create a Bronze Tier Rule in Go-Kwik Checkout

Establish a parallel redemption rule for the Bronze tier within the Go-Kwik Checkout platform.

Step 16 - Assign Tier Restrictions

Access the rule you just created and ensure it is explicitly assigned to the Bronze tier for proper segmentation.

Step 17 - Save Your Settings

After verification, click Save to confirm the rule setup for Go-Kwik Checkout.

Step 18 - Complete Tier Configuration

At this stage, the setup for all loyalty tiers—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—is successfully complete within Nector.io.

Step 19 - Apply Rules Across Third-Party Checkouts

These redemption rules are now also applied to third-party (Go-Kwik Checkout) systems, finalizing configuration across platforms.

Step 20 - Configure for Shopify Checkouts

For users on Shopify Native or Shopify Plus, switch to the respective widgets to enable redemption functionality within those environments.

Step 21 - Create and Enable Shopify Rules

• In Shopify Native Checkout, access the PDP Cart to create the same redemption rule.

• For Shopify Plus Checkout, enable Point Redemption and Checkout Rules to activate tier-based redemption.

Step 22 - Final Verification

All redemption rules across Nector.io, Go-Kwik Checkout, and Shopify are now active and synchronized. Your loyalty program’s tier-based redemption system is fully configured and ready for customer use.
