Setting Up Loyalty Program - Ways to Redeem (3rd Party Checkouts)

Let customers redeem their loyalty points for a discount directly on a third-party checkout such as GoKwik, with no discount code needed. This guide uses GoKwik as the example. Before you start, set up your redemption rules for the rewards widget, and keep your checkout rules the same so customers see the same offer everywhere.

1. Log in to Nector

Go to https://merchant.nector.io/ and log in. Your dashboard opens.

2. Open Integrations

Click Integrations in the left sidebar.

3. Open Third Party Checkouts

In the Integrations menu, click Third Party Checkouts. You'll see the supported checkouts: GoKwik, Shiprocket (Fastrr) Checkout, Shopflo Checkout, Razorpay Magic Checkout, Juspay Checkout, Pragma Checkout, Cashfree Checkout and Custom Checkout.

4. Select your checkout provider

Click the GoKwik card. The GoKwik Checkout page opens.

5. Turn on the integration

Under GoKwik Integration, click the Status toggle to turn it on. Once it’s on, the Redemption Rules, Secret Webhook Id and Whitelist IPs settings appear, and the card shows Enabled on the Third Party Checkouts page.

6. Go to redemption rules

Under Redemption Rules, you’ll see a note that the feature stays inactive until at least one redemption rule exists. Click Create Redemption Rule. You’re taken to the Redemption Rules page with GoKwik Checkout already selected.

7. Create the redemption rule

Click + Create Redemption Rule and fill in:

1. Points Required To Get The Starting Discount (required): for example 100.
2. Starting Discount (required): for example ₹10.
3. Maximum Possible Discount (required): for example ₹100.
4. Minimum Cart Amount (optional): for example ₹599.
5. Click Create.

With these values, customers get ₹10 off for every 100 points, up to ₹100 off, on orders of ₹599 or more.

8. Check the rule in the list

The rule appears under GoKwik Checkout Redemption Rules, for example “Every 100 NEC = ₹10 Off. Minimum cart amount of ₹599. Maximum ₹100 discount,” with status Active. Click the rule to edit it.

9. Edit the discount settings

On the Discount Settings tab:

1. Change Points Required To Get The Starting Discount, Starting Discount or Maximum Possible Discount if needed. The Discount Type is set to Dynamic Discount (based on the customer's points balance).
2. Minimum cart amount type: choose Fixed (recommended) or Dynamic (based on the discount amount).
3. Minimum cart amount: the lowest cart value the discount works on.
4. Allow the discount only on specific products or categories (optional): choose Product or Category, then select up to 100 items. Leave it empty to allow all products.
5. Click Save.

The right panel shows a Discount Summary and Redemption Stats (times used).

10. Set a minimum payment and other limits (optional)

On the Advanced Settings tab:

• Minimum Payment Restriction: enter Minimum payment from customer (% of cart). For example, with 50% the customer pays at least half the cart and points can discount the rest.
• Tier Restriction and Membership Restriction: if you use tiers or memberships, pick the ones that can use this rule. Leave them empty to allow everyone.

Click Save. With a 50% minimum, the rule in the list shows "Minimum amount to be paid by the customer: 50% of cart."

11. Return to the GoKwik integration

Go back to Integrations → Third Party Checkouts → GoKwik. Under Redemption Rules, click View Redemption Rules any time to see or change your rules.

12. Connect GoKwik with the Secret Webhook Id

1. Under Secret Webhook Id, click Copy.
2. Log in to your GoKwik admin panel and go to Quick Checkout → Settings → Integration → Loyalty Points.
3. Turn on Nector Coins and paste the ID into the Webhook ID field. Save your changes in GoKwik.

GoKwik uses this ID to send data to Nector. Keep it private, and never put it in your storefront code or other frontend apps.

Test it: log in to your store as a customer who has points, add items to the cart and go to the GoKwik checkout. You should see the points discount. If auto-apply is off in GoKwik, click Apply to use it.

13. Manage IP access and webhooks (optional)

1. Whitelist IPs: under Whitelist IPs, type each IP address that should be allowed to reach this integration and press Enter. Click Save.
2. Refresh Webhooks: if GoKwik’s data isn’t reaching Nector, click Refresh Webhooks. This creates a new Secret Webhook Id, so copy the new ID and update it in your GoKwik dashboard straight away.
