Setup the offers for customers to redeem their coins

After deciding how customers can earn points, the next step is creating offers for them to redeem those points. We already set up rewards for signing up and buying things, and now we want them to be able to use those points to convert it into something useful. So, here you can create rules for your customers to use their points, these rules are like offers that they can swap their coins for, like getting amount discounts, free shipping, etc. Here, we will look at creating and customizing some of those offers.

Now when you initially set up your Loyalty Program, Nector by default has one redemption rule predefined based on the cashback value chosen during the onboarding process.

Customizing the default offer

For example, refer to the below image:

In this image we can see an offer where we are giving ₹10 off for every 100 coins. To modify it, click on that particular offer.

As you can see the Discount Type is set to Dynamic Discount which means the customer can get ₹10 off depending on the points they have. For example, they redeem 500 coins they will get ₹50 off.

Next we have the Coins Required To Get The Starting Discount section, this denotes the number of coins required to redeem this discount. Here, we have specified it as 100. Since this is a dynamic discount, the 100 coins acts as a base value to get the base discount of ₹10. If the customer has more coins, for example, 500 coins, they will be able to get ₹50 off.

Then we have to set the Starting Discount and Maximum Possible Discount. The way it works is it restricts the discount to be redeemed only upto a certain limit. In the above image the maximum amount is set as 200 so it means at maximum coins the customer can redeem is 2000 coins on this offer to get a ₹200 discount.

Finally we have the Restrictions section, this is optional, here you can add a minimum cart amount for the offer to be valid and any cart with value below it would not be considered. Here we set the Minimum cart amount to 500, so it means the customer should have a minimum of ₹500 worth of items in the cart, to be able to redeem the offer.
