Managing Customer Reviews




Introduction


Welcome to the Managing Customer Reviews guide! 🌟

Customer reviews are a direct line to your audience’s thoughts — helping you improve products, understand customer sentiment, and build trust.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to navigate and manage reviews in your Nector dashboard. You’ll explore filters, review details, and features that let you verify, feature, or respond to feedback directly.


Step 1 - Access the Reviews Section


This is where all customer reviews are collected and managed.

How to do it:

• Log in to your Nectar Dashboard.

• From the navigation bar, select Customer Data → Reviews.



Step 2 - View Recent Reviews


You can focus on recent feedback or analyze older trends. By default, reviews from the last 24 hours are displayed. If you wish to view older reviews:

• Adjust the filter to “All Time” or “Anywhere.”

💡 Tip: Start each day by checking the last 24 hours — it keeps you updated on fresh customer sentiment.



Step 3 - Filter Specific Reviews


Use filters to search for specific reviews by:

• Product ID or Reference

• Product Slug

• Customer Name

• Review Features (e.g., with images or verified seller tags)



Step 4 - Review Summary Information


Each review displays:

• Posting date

• Customer name

• Description text

• Rating stars

You can also toggle options to:

• Mark the review as Verified or Unverified

• Set visibility to Show or Hide on your site



Step 5 - Open Detailed Review View


Click on any review to see more details and available actions for that specific feedback.



Step 6 - Analyze Review Insights


Why it matters: Detailed review insights help you track engagement and reward performance while ensuring high-quality feedback is recognized.

Inside the detailed view, you’ll find:

• The rating given by the customer

• Any loyalty points awarded

• Review source

• Linked product information

💡 Tip: Checking points against ratings can help you fine-tune your reward strategy.



Step 7 - Access Product Details


Click on the hyperlink within the review to view the related product on your website or in the Nector dashboard.




Step 8 - Explore Product Information


This section displays product details, including:

• Product Name and Reference

• ID, Slug, and URL

• Status and Product Group

You’ll also find toggles to manage:

Visibility

Verification

Featured status



Step 9 - Manage Review Display Options


Why it matters: Controlling visibility and featured reviews helps you highlight quality feedback while maintaining transparency.

Decide whether the review should be:

• Hidden on the front end

• Given a Verified Badge

• Shown as a Featured Review

You can also read the customer’s full review text for additional insights.



Step 10 - Edit or Retain the Review


If necessary, you can edit or modify a review. Adjust text formatting, correct typos, or simply keep it unchanged.

💡 Tip: Only edit when absolutely necessary — authentic wording boosts credibility.



Step 11 - Respond to Reviews


Why it matters: Engaging with customer feedback builds trust and shows responsiveness. Reply directly from the Nectar dashboard to address comments from your brand’s perspective.

💡 Tip: Keep replies concise, empathetic, and on-brand — even when addressing negative feedback.



Step 12 - Add Media to a Review


Upload images or videos to accompany the review if applicable. This is especially useful for showcasing product use cases or verifying authenticity.
