1. Finalise Your Loyalty Program Name & Coin Name

Before configuring anything else, decide how your loyalty program will be presented to customers.
Finalize:
- Loyalty program name (e.g. Brand Rewards, Brand Club)
- Coin / points name (e.g. Coins, Gems, Stars, Cashback)
Using branded names improves clarity, recall, and overall program adoption.

2. Configure Your Loyalty Program

Define how customers earn coins, such as:

Create redemption rules that define how customers can use their coins during checkout, including limits and conditions.

Optionally, fine-tune purchase rewards with caps or exclusions to protect program economics.
3. Connect Your Marketing & Communication Tools
Estimated time: 10โ30 minutes
Integrations allow you to automatically communicate with customers when loyalty events occur.
WhatsApp and Email integrations
Connect your email or whatsapp marketing tool to send:
- Welcome messages
- Reward earned notifications
- Referral success emails
- Review requests etc.

Enable and customize the launcher customers click to access rewards and referrals.
You can control desktop/mobile behavior, position, and visibility via Shopify App Embeds.

6. Pre-Launch Import (Optional)

8. Test Before You Announce
Estimated time: 15โ30 minutes
Before promoting your program, test the complete customer journey:
- Earn coins
- Redeem rewards
- Complete a referral
- Submit a review
Test on both desktop and mobile, confirm widget placement, and ensure Shopify App Embed changes are saved.
If coins donโt credit in edge cases, you can manually reward customers.

9. Promote Your Program

Prepare a launch announcement explaining:
- What the program is
- How customers earn rewards
- Best first reward
- Referral incentives
Promote your program via:

- Social media
Add a short FAQ on your site answering:
- How do coins work?
- How do I redeem rewards?
