Incomplete Referral Reminder

In this article we will show you how to setup the incomplete referral reminder.

This is an optional feature. It can be used as a means to improve the referral performance on your store.

To improve the referrals, you can use the referral notify automation. This can be used to nudge or remind the referred customers who still haven't placed an order on your store.

Now, go to Referrals Program page and switch to Features tab. Click on Configure button inside Incomplete Referral Reminders.

Enable the Status button to activate the feature.

Switch to the Configuration tab and under Nudge Automation define the conditions based on which Nector will search for customers who were referred and haven't placed the order yet.

Understanding the condition‚Äč:

Days To Wait After A Customer Was Referred - ideal value is 10, max is 30
No. Of Reminders To Send - ideal value is 2, max is 5

Click on Save to finalise the changes.

Now we have to add an Email in order to send the communication, follow the below example to learn how to add an email notification.

Click on Create button inside the Nudge To Send To Referee For Referral Completion section.

A popup opens where you can choose your mode of communication. Here we will be selecting Send An Email option.

The Send Emails tab of the Emails page opens, all the values will be pre-filled, you can modify the Email Subject as per your liking if you want.

By default it will be created with a predefined Incomplete Referral template but you can also uncheck and design your own template from scratch.

If you want to create a new template uncheck and click on Design New Template button. A blank canvas opens where you can customise your email template as you want. Refer to this Sending Emails article for more details.

Finally click on Create button, the email would be ready as shown below.

To enable or disable the incomplete referral, just toggle the status button in the page
