How to Set Up Unused Coupon Reminders in Nector

Automatically remind customers to use their coupons before they expire. This guide shows you how to set the reminder timing and choose how each reminder is delivered: email, integration, or webhook.

1. Open Features. Log in to merchant.nector.io and click Features in the left navigation menu.

2. Go to Reminder Actions. On the Features page, click Reminder Actions in the category list on the left.

3. Open Unused Coupon Reminder. Under Reminder Actions, click the Unused Coupon Reminder card to open its settings.

4. Set the reminder timing and click Save. Under Reminder Settings, enter Days To Wait (days after coupon creation before the first reminder), Number Of Reminders (1, 2 or 3), and Days Between Follow-Ups (gap between reminders). Example: 10, 2 and 5 sends reminders on day 10 and day 15.

5. Open the notifications page. In Notification Settings, click View Notifications.

6. Review your notifications. The list shows each notification's type, event details, delivery stats (Sent, Failed, Failure %), and a Status toggle to turn it on or off.

7. Add a new notification. Click the + icon at the top right of the notifications list.

8. Choose how to notify customers. Select Send An Email. You can also choose Send Event To An Integration or Send A Webhook (see the optional steps at the end).

9. Create the email. Keep or edit the email subject, leave Use Predefined Template checked, then click Create.

10. Open the new notification. After you click Create, it appears in the list. Click it to view its details.

11. Edit the email if needed. Update the subject and click Save, or click Edit Email Template to change the design.

12. Customize the email template. Use the drag-and-drop editor to update the content, logo, and colors, then click Save.

13. Optional: Send the event to an integration. To use a tool such as Klaviyo or WebEngage, choose Send Event To An Integration, pick it under Send data to, and click Create.

14. Optional: Send the event to a webhook. Choose Send A Webhook, enter the webhook URI and secret (add custom headers if needed), and click Create.

15. You're all set. Customers with an unused coupon will now get reminders automatically, after the number of days you configured.
