Incomplete Referral Reminder Setup

Introduction

The Incomplete Referral Reminder feature helps boost referral completion rates by sending automated reminders to customers who have started—but not completed—the referral process.

By nudging customers at the right time, you can:

• Encourage more successful referral conversions

• Reduce drop-offs in the referral journey

• Improve overall engagement with your referral program

This guide walks you through configuring timing, frequency, and notification channels for these reminders.

Step 1 - Access the Incomplete Referral Reminder Feature

Navigate to the Features section in your dashboard.

Then:

• Select Reminders

• Locate Incomplete Referral Reminder

• Open it to begin setup

Step 2 - Understand the Purpose

This reminder is used when a customer has referred someone who hasn’t completed the referral process.

The feature automatically sends a nudge to prompt them to complete the referral.

Step 3 - Enable & Configure the Feature

Click Configure, then toggle the status On.

Once enabled, you will see settings that allow you to:

• Send nudges for incomplete referrals

• Choose a notification channel

• Adjust timing and frequency

Step 4 - Set Reminder Timing & Frequency

Configure:

• Number of days after which the first nudge should be sent - 10

• How many reminders should be delivered - 2

• Intervals between each reminder - 5

Once timing is set, choose the notification channel you want to use.

Example:

• First reminder → Day 10

• Second reminder → Day 15

💡 Tip: Shorter intervals lead to better completion rates.

Step 5 - Select a Notification Channel

You can send reminders through any of these channels:

• 📧 Email

• 📱 SMS

• 🔄 Event Integration

• 🌐 Webhook

Step 6 - Create a New Template (Optional)

If you'd like to use a different message:

• Uncheck the box for the existing template

• Click Design a New Template

Step 7 - Use Existing Template

If the current template works for you, simply click Create.

This will finalize the nudge setup and activate the reminder.
