What are Triggers?

Triggers in Nector hold the necessary logic for rewarding coins or discounts to customers. You can define how many coins to reward or the discount to give to the customer in the trigger. Optionally, you can add restrictions on the execution of the triggers. For example, reward the customer only once a day, once a month or not more than 5 times a month, etc.

If you are not looking to use Nector APIs to reward for custom use cases, then kindly refrain from using or creating triggers directly

Triggers are mainly used when you want to reward your customers for use cases that are not directly supported by Nector (Ex. reward for signing up for your newsletter). These are the following types of triggers that you can use:

Wallet - These Triggers are used to reward coins to the customers.

Offer - These Triggers are used to reward a discount (Ex. 10% off, ₹100 off, etc.) directly to the customers.
