Unused Coupon Reminder: Setup & Automation
Introduction
The Unused Coupon Reminder feature helps ensure customers never forget about their active coupons — boosting redemption rates and reducing support queries. With automated reminders sent after a set number of days, this feature gently nudges customers to take action before their coupon expires.
This guide walks you through configuring reminders, setting notification intervals, and selecting how notifications are delivered.
Step 1 - Navigate to the Unused Coupon Reminder
To begin:
• Go to Features
• Click Reminders
• Select Unused Coupon Reminder from the list

Step 2 - Enable the Feature

Step 3 - Configure Reminder Settings
Start with Reminder Settings.
Specify how many days after the coupon is created the reminder should be sent.
Example: Set to 10 days.

Step 4 - Choose the Number of Reminders
Decide how many reminders should be sent:
• One
• Two
• Or three gentle nudges

Step 5 - Set Reminder Intervals
Specify the number of days between follow-up reminders.
Example:
• First reminder → Day 10
• Second reminder → Day 15 (5 days later)

Step 6 - Switch to Notification Settings
Now head to Notification Settings.
This is where you choose how reminders are delivered to customers.

Step 7 - Select Notification Method
Choose how reminders will be sent:
• 📱 SMS
• 🔗 Integration
• 🌐 Web integration (e.g., Klaviyo, WebEngage)
For this example, select Email.

Step 8 - View the Default Template

Step 9 - Modify or Create a New Template
You can:
• Edit the existing template, or
• Select the checkbox to create a brand-new template.

Step 10 - Use the Existing Template

Step 11 - Create Notification
