How to Edit a Redemption Rule/Offer?

Inorder to edit an already created Redemption rule / Offer, kindly follow the below steps:


  1. Go to Redemption Rules under Loyalty Settings inside the Loyalty Program.


  1. Click on the offer you would like to edit




There are different types of redemption rules:


Amount Discount


  • Variable Amount Discount
  • Fixed Amount Discount


Percentage Discount


  • Variable Percentage Discount
  • Fixed Percentage Discount


Amount Discount


Variable Amount Discount (Increment of Points)


With Increment of Points, the customer will be able to choose a discount, within a range, based on the number of coins they have. Read below for an example of how it works.




Understanding the conditions:​


  1. Minimum Coins Required - The number of coins that the customer needs to redeem, to get the minimum discount
  2. Minimum Discount Amount - Minimum discount amount value
  3. Maximum Discount Amount - Maximum discount amount value


How it works?Assume, coins required to redeem this offer = 100, minimum discount customers get = 5, maximum discount customers get = 20. Then for every 100 coins customer can get $5 discount and adjust the discount value via slider on the floating widget or the rewards page to a maximum of $20 discount, by redeeming 400 coins


  • Make the necessary changes to the Minimum Coins Required, Minimum Discount Amount, Maximum Discount Amount


  • Click on the Save button to make the necessary changes


Fixed Amount Discount


With this type of offer, a fixed discount (Ex. $20) can be redeemed by spending coins.




Understanding the conditions​:


  1. Coins Required - The number of coins that the customer needs to redeem, to get the discount
  2. Discount Amount - The discount that will be given to the customer


  • Make the necessary changes to the Coins Required, Discount Amount


  • Click on the Save button to make the necessary changes



Percentage Discount


Variable Percentage Discount (Increment of Points Discount)


With Increment of Points, the customer will be able to choose a discount percentage, within a range, based on the number of coins they have. Read below for an example of how it works.




Understanding the condition​s:


  1. Minimum Coins Required - The number of coins that the customer needs to redeem, to get the minimum discount
  2. Minimum Discount Amount - Minimum discount amount value
  3. Maximum Discount Amount - Maximum discount amount value


How it works?Assume, coins required to redeem this offer = 100, minimum discount customers get = 1, maximum discount customers get = 20. Then for every 100 coins, customer can get 1% discount and adjust the discount value via slider on the floating widget or the rewards page to a maximum of 20% discount, by redeeming 2000 coins


  • Make the necessary changes to the Minimum Coins Required, Minimum Discount Amount, Maximum Discount Amount


  • Click on the Save button to make the necessary changes



Fixed Percentage Discount


With this type of offer, a fixed percentage discount (Ex. 15%) can be redeemed by spending coins.




Understanding the condition​s:


  1. Coins Required - The number of coins that the customer needs to redeem, to get the discount
  2. Discount Amount - How much percent discount coupon will be generate by redeeming the defined number of coins


  • Make the necessary changes to the Coins Required, Discount Amount


  • Click on the Save button to make the necessary changes


Adding Restrictions For Redemption


The following restrictions are supported by Nector:


  • Minimum cart value
  • Restrict the discount for only certain products
  • Restrict the discount for only certain categories/collections
