Customizing the Referrals Page & Other Referral Sections
In this article we will show how to customize the various referral sections & pages provided by nector. For example, the referral section in the rewards widget, the referral section in the rewards page, in the order status page, the referral page & referral popup all of them are explained here.
Visit the Referrals Widget page under On-Site Displays inside the Referrals Program
Here you can control the visibility of the widget, the appearance of the widget on both desktop and mobile. You can also modify the referrals widget icon to your choice.
On switching to Content & Sharing tab, you can change the description for logged in and logged out customers and also configure the sharing messages for various social medias
Visit the Referrals Page page under On-Site Displays inside the Referrals Program
A banner is shown on at the very top of the referrals page. In the absence of a banner, a light grey color is used as the background.
To add or change the banner shown on the rewards page, you can upload the banner images for desktop (under the Banner Image field) and for mobile screen (under the Mobile Banner Image field).
Desktop Banner Dimensions: 1920 x 450px
Mobile Banner Dimensions: 575 x 480px
To hide the banner image in the referrals section shown on order status page, check the Hide Banner on Order Status Page option.
Once you make any changes, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Save button.
This is how a sample banner looks like on the referrals page.
To change the description, Switch to the Description tab on this page. Here, you can change the description for when the customer is logged in and logged out.

The below image shows the description being used in the rewards widget and on the rewards page.
In the image shown in the previous section, the customer has the option to share their referral link/code on Whatsapp, twitter or email using the icons shown.
To customize the default message when the customer clicks on any of the share icons, Switch to the Sharing tab on this page. Here, you can change the message for each of the platform.
Once you make any changes, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Save button.
