To enable the integration, you need to choose the primary selector, and get the API key from your Contlo dashboard.

Click on your store name in the top right area, and click on Settings.
Click on Marketing Settings tab on the left area.
Click on API Keys tab in the top.
Under Private API Keys, create a new API key by click on the Create API Key button and giving any name.
Copy the newly create API Key and paste in the nector dashboard. See below image for reference.

Sending Events To Contlo

Events can be sent to Contlo when certain things happen on Nector. You can then setup automations on Contlo, which can be triggered when the event occurs on Nector. For example, when a customer is rewarded with wallet coins, an event can be sent to Contlo, which in turn will trigger an automation that sends an email to the customer.

Visit the Events Page on your Nector dashboard.

As the first step enable the events by toggling the status button on that page. After enabling you will see the below view.

Add new event

Now switch to the Send Events tab and click on the Create button, a popup will open

Now select the event on which you want to notify the external integration, also select the Contlo as the external integration that needs to be notified, and add any filters based on which event sending should be restricted

There are many events supported on nector. If you don't know which to choose, here are the two events that are most relevant and commonly used:

Wallet Coins Rewarded: This event will be sent whenever wallet coins are rewarded on nector.
Coupon Is Created: This event will be sent whenever a customer uses his wallet coins to get a discount/coupon code on nector.

For example,
To send an Wallet Reward Event to a Contlo whenever wallet coins are rewarded to a customer on nector, you would create the event as shown below.

Once you have entered all the details, click on the Create button in the popup.

Events can also be sent for other things like when a new customer is referred, for coin expiry notification, for review request, and more. To learn how to setup these events, look into those respective articles.

For a list of events and the data associated with each event, please refer this article for more info:

Setting Up Automations on Contlo

After you are done setting up events to be sent to Contlo from Nector, you can create automations on Contlo to do some action when the event occurs.

For this, visit your Contlo dashboard and create a new automation. In the trigger part of the automation, you can choose any event that is sent from Nector. Following the example from before: to send an email whenever a customer is rewarded with wallet coins, this is how a basic automation setup would look like:
