Introduction

Adding a Product Review Section directly to your product page helps customers make informed purchase decisions by viewing genuine feedback without navigating away.

This guide walks you through integrating the review widget into your Shopify product pages and customizing its appearance, sorting, and display options.

Step 1 - Access the Product Page Review Widget

To begin adding reviews to your product page:

1. Go to Onsite Display
2. Select Product Page Widget
3. Locate the Product Page Review Widget

This widget enables customers to view all reviews related to a specific product.

Step 2 - Configure via Shopify

Click Configure, then select Add on Shopify.

Step 3 - Open Shopify Theme Editor

You will be redirected to your Shopify theme editor.

Then:

1. Select a product
2. Click Default Product
3. Under Template, click Add Section
4. Go to Apps
5. Search for Product Reviews
6. Select the Product Review section

The Product Review Widget will now be added to your page.

Click Save.

To customize further, return to the widget section and select Product Review.

Step 4 - Customize Review Appearance

Start customizing the review widget:

• Most Recent

• Top Rated

• Image First (default)

• Most Recent

• Top Rated

• Image First (default)

Step 5 - Choose Review Display Style

Select how you want reviews to appear:

• Grid view

• Image-optimized grid

• Row layout

Click Save and preview it on your storefront.

(Your example currently uses the image-optimized grid.)

Step 6 - Enable or Disable “Show All Reviews”

If enabled, this will display all product reviews on this page, not just reviews for the current product.

If undesired, keep this toggle off.

Step 7 - Enable or Disable “Show All Reviews If None Found”

If a product has zero reviews, enabling this will show reviews from other products.

Since this is not needed here, leave it disabled.

Step 8 - Enable Image Carousel

The Image Carousel allows customers to:

• Scroll through review images

• Click on images to view the full review

This enhances visual credibility and shopping confidence.

Step 9 - Enable Tags Display

You can show review tags such as:

• Ayurvedic

• PCOS relief

• Menstrual health

• Effective results

These tags are automatically extracted by AI from repeated customer themes.

Step 10 - Enable Summary Section

The AI-generated summary provides an overview of common sentiments across reviews.

To activate this feature, click Enable These Features in your customization settings.

Step 11 - Show Detailed Rating Breakup

Enable this to display a rating breakdown:

• Count of 5-star, 4-star, etc.

• Percentage distribution

• Total reviews count

This provides transparency and helps customers assess product credibility.

Step 12 - Show Featured Reviews Only (Optional)

If you enable this, only reviews marked as Featured will appear.

Step 13 - Hide Review Dates (Optional)

Every review includes a timestamp.

If desired, enable Hide Date to remove date visibility.

Step 14 - Hide Section Rating (Optional)

Enabling Hide Section Rating removes the overall rating summary from the widget.

Step 15 - Hide Total Review Count (Optional)

Enable this to hide the total number of reviews.

Example: If there are eight reviews, the count will no longer show.

Step 16 - Show Q&A Tab

Enable Show Q&A Tab to display product questions submitted by customers.

This helps buyers clarify doubts directly on the product page.

Step 17 - Save & Publish Changes

Once all desired customizations are made, click Save.

These updates will now be visible on the product page.
