Integrating a Review Widget on Your Website Homepage

Introduction

Showcasing customer reviews on your homepage is one of the most effective ways to build trust and improve conversions. With the Featured Review widget, you can highlight your best customer feedback directly on the storefront—beautifully and seamlessly.

This guide walks you through adding and customizing the Featured Review widget using your Nector Dashboard and Shopify theme editor.

Step 1 - Open the Homepage Widget Settings

From the Nector Dashboard, click On-Site Display in the left-hand menu.

Navigate to Homepage, where you will find the Featured Review widget.

Step 2 - Add the Widget to Shopify

Click Configure, then select Add to Shopify.

This will automatically redirect you to the theme customization area.

Step 3 - Add the Widget Manually

If you prefer to add it manually:

1. Log in to Shopify
2. Open Online Store → Customize Theme
3. Ensure Homepage is selected
4. Click Add Section
5. Go to Apps
6. Select Featured Review

The widget will be inserted into the homepage layout.

Step 4 - Preview and Save

The Featured Review widget will now be visible on your homepage layout.

Click Save, then visit your live site to preview how it appears.

Step 5 - Modify Widget Settings

Return to Settings → Feature Review to fine-tune its appearance.

You can customize:

• 🎨 Background color

• 🏷️ Show/Hide the section title

• ⭐ Show/Hide average rating (e.g., 4.75)

Step 6 - Title & Rating Display

Choose whether to:

• Hide the section title

• Hide the total rating score

Either option can be enabled or disabled based on your design preference.

💡 Tip: Hiding the rating can create a cleaner, minimal layout.

Step 7 - Adjust Layout Options

Select your preferred review display style, such as:

• Carousel Grid

• Image-Optimized Grid

• Standard Grid

Make your selection, click Save, and return to the previous page.

Your homepage review widget is now fully configured!
