Configuring a Review Page on Your Website

Introduction

A dedicated Review Page helps centralize all customer feedback in one place—boosting trust, improving transparency, and giving shoppers an easy way to browse real product experiences.

This guide walks you through the complete process of setting up a review page using Shopify and Nector’s review page code embed.

Step 1 - Access the Review Page Setup

From the left menu, go to Onsite Display, then select Dedicated Pages.

Here, click on Review Page to begin the setup.

Step 2 - Open Configuration

Click Configure to access the code required for the review page.

Step 3 - Copy the Review Page Code

After clicking Configure, Nector will display a block of auto-generated code.

Copy this code—you will paste it inside Shopify shortly.

Step 4 - Create a New Liquid File in Shopify

In your Shopify admin:

  1. Open your current theme
  2. Click the three dots (⋮)
  3. Select Edit Code
  4. In the code editor, go to Templates
  5. Right-click and choose New File
  6. Name the file with a .liquid extension

Step 5 - Paste the Nector Review Code

Press Enter, then paste the code you copied from the Nector dashboard into this new Liquid file.

Click Save, close the editor tab, and return to Shopify.

Next:

  1. Go to Pages
  2. Create a new page
  3. Enter the desired page title
  4. Set the page Visibility to Visible
  5. Select the Nector Reviews template for this page
  6. Click Save

Step 6 - Choose Template & Publish

Your page should now use the newly created template containing the review embed code.

Save your changes to apply the template.

Step 7 - Allow Time for Changes to Apply

It may take a couple of minutes for Shopify to register the new Liquid file and display the updated page.

Step 8 - Review Page Ready

Your dedicated Review Page is now live and ready for customers to view and engage with.
