Adding product/category restrictions to redemption rules
To add restriction to redemption rules
Go to Redemption Rules tab under Loyalty Settings inside the Loyalty Program.
Under Redeem Coins click on the rule you want to add the restriction too.
Scroll below to the Restrictions settings
We can add two types of Minimum cart amount type
Fixed - In this restriction, we have to add an amount in the Minimum cart amount then the discount will be applicable only when an order of that amount is placed
Multiplier - In this restriction, we have to add a Multiplier Factor which basically mulitplies the discount given to the minimum cart value, it is explained in detail below
Multiplier-based minimum cart value helps you generate a dynamic minimum cart value that is based on the discount amount.
Example: If you keep the multipler factor as 4. Then the minimum cart value will be 4 times that of the discount. If the user generate a discount of 50, then the minimum cart value will be 200.
Tick the Restrict the discount to particular products/categories
Under Applicable on select the Product option
There under Product Ids you can select the products which you want the restriction to be applied too
If this discount only applies to selected products then upto a 100 products will be allowed
Tick the Restrict the discount to particular products/categories
Under Applicable on select the Category option
There under Category Ids you can select the categories which you want the restriction to be applied too
If this discount only applies to selected categories or collections then upto a 100 categories will be allowed
