Import, Update and Generate QnAs In Bulk
Introduction
The Bulk Q&A Management feature helps you efficiently import, update, and generate Q&As for one or multiple products using bulk CSV files or AI generation.
This is especially useful for:
• Migrating Q&As from an existing system
• Updating visibility for many products
• Creating Q&As at scale
• Enhancing product detail pages with valuable customer information
Follow the steps below to manage all Q&A workflows seamlessly.
Step 1 - Access Bulk Update Tools
Navigate to Customer Data → Import and Bulk Update to begin managing Q&As in bulk.

Step 2 Find the Q&A Section
Scroll to the bottom of the page to locate the Q&A management section.

Step 3 - Import Q&A
Click Import Q&A to start uploading Q&As in bulk.

Step 4 - Choose CSV Format
Select Nector only as the format for your bulk CSV file.

Step 5 - Assign Q&As to a Product (Optional)
If uploading Q&As for a specific product, specify the product in the provided field.

Step 6 - Fill the Sample CSV Sheet
Download the sample sheet, then fill in:
• Email or mobile number (one is mandatory)
• Customer name
• Reference (e.g., Shopify)
If needed, enter the Product ID inside the sheet.

Step 7 - Complete Product Fields
For custom websites, specify them accordingly.
Use the Product ID to associate Q&As with the product.
(You can add the product slug too, but Product ID is prioritized.)
Enter:
• The question
• The answer
in their respective columns.

Step 8 - Approval & Date Fields
Indicate Q&A approval status:
• 1 = Approved
• 0 = Not approved
Include the creation date in valid format.

Step 9 - Follow Correct Date Format
Use YYYY-MM-DD format.
Upload your completed file by clicking Upload File, and the system will process it.

Step 10 - Finalize Import
Once upload processing is complete, click Import to finalize.

Step 11 - Receive Confirmation Email
An email confirmation will be sent to the admin email address once import is finished.

Step 12 - Bulk Update Q&A Visibility
To edit existing Q&As, use the Bulk Update Q&A Visibility feature.
Click Bulk Update to proceed.

Step 13 - Apply Visibility Filters
Use filters to make Q&As either visible or invisible as needed.

Step 14 - Example: Visibility for Specific Product
If you want Q&As to be visible only for a certain product, configure visibility settings accordingly.

Step 15 - Select Products & Apply Rules
Choose the product(s), then configure whether to hide or display Q&As.
You can also set visibility rules based on date criteria.
Filter Q&As by:
• Creation date (before/after)
• Product slug

Step 16 - Generate Q&As Using AI
Click Generate Q&As to create Q&As automatically.

Step 17 - Choose a Product for AI Generation
Select the product you want to generate Q&As for and click Generate Q&As.

Step 18 - System Generates Q&As
Nector will auto-generate Q&As based on the product details on file.

Step 19 - Example Generated Q&A
Example:
“Is this coconut bar suitable for sensitive skin?”
You can modify the question or answer before saving.

Step 20 - Create Q&As
Once satisfied, click Create Q&As to publish them.
The generated Q&As will appear on your website.

Step 21 - Verify on Website
Visit your website’s Q&A section to confirm the new entries appear as expected.
