Enabling the Floating Review Launcher
Introduction
The Floating Review Launcher allows you to showcase reviews prominently across all pages of your Shopify store. This floating widget boosts trust and engagement by making real customer reviews visible at all times—no scrolling or page-switching required.
This guide will walk you through how to enable the launcher and ensure it appears consistently on your storefront.
Step 1 - Overview of the Feature
In this walkthrough, you will learn how to enable the Floating Review Launcher.
Step 2 - Access the Launcher Settings
This feature:
• Displays reviews on the front end of your Shopify store
• Works only for Shopify, not for custom websites
• Applies to Nectar Reviews or supported review systems
To access it:
- Click On-Site Display
- Navigate to Launchers
Step 3 - View Launcher Options
You will now see options for:
• Floating Reviews
• Launchers
Step 4 - Configure the Launcher
Click Configure.
Then select Add on Shopify — this will take you directly to your Shopify theme editor.
Step 5 - Open Shopify Theme Settings Manually
Alternatively, you may navigate manually by:
- Clicking Themes
- Selecting Customize
- Opening App Embeds to view all apps available on your store
Step 6 - Enable the Floating Review Widget
In the App Embeds section, select Floating Review Widget.
Once enabled, a widget will appear in the top right corner of your store preview.
Turn the toggle ON, then click Save.
Step 7 - Floating Widget Activated
Once enabled, the floating review widget will now appear on every page of your Shopify storefront.
Your customers will see reviews instantly wherever they browse.
