Viewing Event, API, and Import/Export History in Nector

This document explains how to view and filter the history of API calls, system activities, and import/export jobs in the Nector dashboard. Use these steps to audit actions taken by your team and track data operations over time.

Step 1: Open the Access History Section

From the Nector dashboard, open the Settings option in the left-hand menu.

Within Settings, navigate to the Access History section.

Step 2: Review and Filter API Call History

In the Access History view, you can see a list of all API calls made to the Nector dashboard across different time ranges.

Use the Time Range filter (e.g., All time or a specific period) to narrow down the results as needed.

You can also use additional filters to refine the API call history by:

  • Request Endpoint
  • Request Status

For more granular filtering, expand the filter options to select among:

  • Different APIs

  • Different Merchants
  • Incoming Webhooks

Step 3: View Activity History

Next, switch to the Activity History tab.

In Activity History, you can see all configuration and content changes made in the system, including:

  • Event-related changes

  • Email templates or email configurations created

  • Events created

  • Webhooks created
  • Email verifications created

All such actions are recorded and can be audited from this section.

Step 4: Review Import-Export History

Go to the Import-Export History tab.

This section shows all downloads and data jobs (imports and exports) performed by anyone on your team through the Nector dashboard.

You can organize and filter these jobs by:

  • Timeline (date and time ranges)

  • Job Group such as:

  • Import

  • Export
    • Sync
    • Cron job, etc.
  • Status (e.g., completed, in progress, failed)

Additionally, you can filter by Type of job, including:

  • Public offer imports

  • Codes import

  • Points import
  • Customer data import
  • Other supported import/export types

Use these filters to quickly locate specific data operations and verify their outcomes.
