Points Redeem Widget
This article is applicable only for Shopify Merchants
This article teaches how to enable the Points Redemption widget for customers so that they can auto apply discounts directly from the products page.
The points redemption widget can be added on the product page or cart page of your store. It allows customers to quickly redeem their coins with a single click. When the customer is logged in, it automatically calculates the eligible discount and shows it on the product page. The customer can simply click on the checkbox and the discount will be generated and applied to the cart automatically in the background. The customer can continue shopping and when they go to the checkout page the discount will already be applied.
When the customer goes to checkout page, the discount is already applied.
First, you need to enable and setup the feature on Nector dashboard, and then you can add it on your Shopify store.
Click on On Site Displays on the left side menu. Go to the Product & Cart Page section. And click on Configure on the Points Redeem section. You will then see some instructions on how to proceed. Once again, click on the Configure button.
As first step enable Points Redeem Widget checkbox feature by toggling the status button on that page. After enabling you will see the below view.
Now on Nector dashboard, switch to the Redemption Rules tab and define the offer based on which the points to $ conversion will happen. To define the offer, under Offer Settings, click on the Add button, and choose an offer as per your business needs.
For ex: Based on the business logic, a business can create an offer, where 1 point = $1, or 100 points = $10 etc.
After the offer has been setup, you will need to add the Points Redeem Widget app block in your live theme's product description page.

Visit your shopify admin panel and click on Online Store
Now, click on Customize button of the currently active theme, that will open the editor from where we can add the app blocks.
In the top-center dropdown, where Homepage is selected, click on it, and switch to Products > Default Product view.
Now, on the left side, scroll until you find Add Block button and click on it. A popup will open, search for Nector Use Your Points app block and add it. Please check below screenshot for reference.
It is recommended that you move the widget to place it above the "Buy Now" button or "Add To Cart" button.
Click on Save button after all the changes to save everything.
