Nector and KwikEngage Integration

Integrating Nector with Telephant / KwikEngage for WhatsApp Loyalty Messaging

This document explains how to connect Nector with the Telephant / QuickEngage platform so that all loyalty, rewards, and referral communications can be sent via WhatsApp through automated journeys and campaigns.

Step 1: Open the Integration Settings in Nector

Navigate to the Integrations section in your Nector dashboard.

In the Integrations list, search for QuickEngage.

Step 2: Configure the QuickEngage Integration

Click on Configure for the QuickEngage integration.

You will be redirected to the QuickEngage configuration screen where you can set up the channel and connection details.

Step 3: Select Channel and Common Property

Under Select channel, choose the channel you want to use. In most cases, this will be WhatsApp.

Next, set the Common property. This should typically remain as Mobile so that communication is mapped to the customer’s mobile number.

Confirm that the Common property is set to mobile only.

You will also see a field for the API key, which you will fetch from the QuickEngage platform.

Step 4: Retrieve the API Key from QuickEngage

Go to the QuickEngage platform to find your API key.

In the left navigation panel, open the API section.

Copy the displayed API key, then return to the Nector dashboard and paste this key into the API key field in the QuickEngage integration settings. Click Initialize to complete the integration setup.

Step 5: Configure Nector Events to Send Data to Telephant

Once the integration is initialized, you need to configure Nector events so that they send data to Telephant / QuickEngage.

Choose the relevant Nector event you want to push, for example, Wallet Points Rewarded as an event trigger for a particular journey.

Enable options such as Send data to Telephant and Send data via WhatsApp.

Map the template ID and other variable properties, including:

• Variable fields (e.g., amount, brand name)

• CTA (Call-To-Action)

• Image (if applicable)

Add all the required properties so that the correct data is passed into the WhatsApp template when it is sent.

Step 6: Create a WhatsApp Template in KwikEngage

Before mapping templates in Nector, create the actual WhatsApp template in kwikEngage.

Go back to the kwikEngage platform and open the Template Builder section.

Click on Create Template and design the template you want to send.

In the template, define:

• Subject

• Template name

• Body content

• Number of variables (e.g., amount, brand name, redemption URL)

You can also add a CTA button if needed.

Once configured, save the template. You will then see the template listed in the Template Builder.

Submit the template for approval by clicking Submit this Template.

After the template is approved and visible in the approved list, copy the template name/ID.

Step 7: Map the Template and Variables in Nector

Return to the Nector dashboard and open the configuration for the Wallet Points Rewarded event (or your chosen event).

Set this event as the trigger so that whenever a customer receives points, a corresponding template will be sent to Telephant via WhatsApp. Enter the template ID (copied from QuickEngage) in the template field so that this specific template is used.

Map the variables you are using in the template, such as:

• Business name

• Wallet transaction amount

If your template includes a CTA, you can map a business URL or website URL as the CTA link.

If you are using an image, configure it in Nector using custom properties and map it here as well so the image is sent with the template.

Once all mappings are done (template ID, variables, CTA, image), save and create this event configuration.

Step 8: Activate and Monitor Event Triggers

After the event is created, it will automatically trigger whenever a customer earns points—for example, through reviews, referrals, or loyalty activities.

These events will be sent to the Telephant / QuickEngage dashboard, and the configured WhatsApp messages will be delivered to customers accordingly.

You can monitor performance and statistics in Nector, such as how many events have been sent over a selected time frame.

This completes the end-to-end integration and event configuration between Nector and Telephant / KwikEngage.
