Nector and Google Merchant Reviews Integration

Integrating Nector Product Reviews with Google Merchant Center




This process connects your nector product reviews to Google Merchant Center so that all reviews collected on the nector platform are automatically synced to Google Product Reviews approximately every five days.


Step 1: Open the Integrations Section in nector

From the nector dashboard, navigate to the Integrations section using the left-hand menu.



Within Integrations, click on Reviews to access the review-related integrations.



Step 2: Open Google Reviews Configuration


In the Reviews integrations list, locate Google Reviews (it will be listed last). Click Configure to open the Google Reviews integration settings.




In the configuration screen, select the Product Identifier that you use for syncing products with Google (for example, product_id).




Choose the appropriate identifier from the dropdown or list.




Confirm your selection to proceed.



Step 3: Find and Enter Your Exact Brand Name


You now need to provide your exact brand name, as defined in Google Merchant Center.

  1. Go to your Google Merchant Center.
  2. Navigate to Products.
  3. Open any product to view its details and locate the Brand field.
  4. Copy the brand name exactly as it appears there (including spacing and capitalization).

Return to your nector dashboard and paste this brand name into the Brand Name field in the Google Reviews configuration.





Click Initialize to start the integration setup.

Step 4: Copy the Generated File URL from nector


After initialization is successful, you will be taken to a screen showing a File URL generated by nector.


This File URL is an automatically generated feed that, every five days, syncs all product reviews from nector to Google Reviews.



Copy this File URL to your clipboard.


Step 5: Add the nector Review Feed in Google Merchant Center


  1. Go back to Google Merchant Center.
  2. Navigate to Reviews.
  3. Click Manage product review sources.
  4. Click Add product reviews.
  5. When prompted, select the option to Enter a link to your file.
  6. Paste the copied File URL into the field provided.
  7. Click Continue (or equivalent) to save and activate the review source.


Once this is completed, the integration is active. All reviews submitted via nector will be available in your Google Merchant Center product reviews and will continue to sync automatically every five days.
