How to send emails from your domain

In this article, we will show you to setup Nector SMTP through which you can effortlessly send emails from your domain name, ensuring professional and reliable communication. Read through this article to learn how to setup the Email Sender Settings.

Go to Emails Page and scroll down to Email Sender Settings.




Under Email Service To Use, select the Nector SMTP option




We need to enter the Domain and Sender Email Address in this option. Under Domain enter the domain name of your email address for eg. if your email id is hello@nector.ai , you will have to enter nector.ai. Inside the Sender Email Address, enter the email id from which you want to send the emails.

The email id entered for Sender Email Address should be a real email address with an active inbox

After you have entered the details as shown below, click on Save & Verify Domain




A pop up opens guiding you on the process of configuring the settings in your domain provider, follow the below screenshots

Login to your domain provider




Follow the instructions to add the SPF record to your domain. Once it done, click on the “Proceed” button to go to next step




Follow the instructions to add the DKIM record to your domain. Once it done, click on the “Proceed” button to go to next step




Follow the instructions to add the DMARC record to your domain. Once it done, click on the “Proceed” button to go to next step




Follow the instructions to add the CNAME record to your domain. Once it done, click on the “Proceed” button to go to next step




Finally click on Verify button to finish the process.

Sometimes it can take a long time even up to 48 hours for your DNS Records to get updated completely. If the verification fails now, come back and try again later.

Once you have finished setting up your Verification, if you can see the Domain Verified message that means you have successfully set up the Nector SMTP
