Exporting Order Data

Export Orders Process

Introduction

The Export Orders feature allows you to download order-related data based on date ranges, customer-specific filters, order channels, and Nectar-related activity.
This export is useful for:
Order analytics and reporting
Loyalty program impact tracking
Audits and reconciliations
Filtering POS vs online orders
Understanding discount and UTM performance
Below is a step-by-step guide to exporting your orders efficiently.

Step 1 – Overview of the Export Orders Feature

In this video/tutorial, we will explore the Export Orders feature and how to use it.

Step 2 – Navigate to Export Orders

Go to:
Customer Data
Select Export Data
Locate Export Orders inside the Export Options section

Step 3 – Choose a Date Range

Click Export, then choose the date range for which you want to export customer order data.
You can select a maximum range of 90 days. For example, select September 1 to October 31 as the export period.

Step 4 – Export for a Specific Customer (Optional)

If required, filter the export by Lead ID to download orders for a specific customer only.

Step 5 – Export Nectar-Influenced Orders Only

Check this box to export only Nectar-influenced orders—orders where loyalty actions such as point usage or rewards played a role.

Step 6 – Export All Orders

If you uncheck the box, all orders within the date range will be exported, regardless of Nector involvement.

Step 7 – Filter by Order Channel

You can filter orders by:
POS
Online
Other sales channels

Step 8 – Export Based on Channel

Select the channel(s) you want—such as only POS orders—and proceed to export.

Step 9 – Export Only Orders Using Nector Points

Use this option to export only orders where Nector points were used.
This excludes:
Coupon-based orders
Referral-based orders

Step 10 – Export File Contents

Uncheck the Nector points filter if needed, then click Export.
The resulting CSV will include:
Customer email
Contact number
Reference order number
Order name
Source (e.g., Website or Shopify)
Total order price

Step 11 – Discounts and Marketing Source Details

The CSV will also show:
Discounts applied
UTM parameters for orders originating from Meta, Google, CRM tools, etc.
Details on whether the order came via performance marketing channels

Step 12 – Order Status Details

The export includes:
Fulfilled, shipped, or delivered status
Financial status (Paid or Unpaid)
Delivery status (if available from Shopify)
Coins rewarded for the order

Step 13 – Reward and Wallet Details

The file lists:
Coins rewarded
Coins disbursed
Coins spent
Any credit wallet usage
Tags associated with the order

Step 14 – Additional Metadata

The export also shows:
Internal tags (like Nector tags)
Order creation date
You can revisit the portal to view history of previous downloads.

If you need the export again, click Send Download Link to have the file resent to your admin email.

Step 16 – Completion of Export Process

This completes the order export process.

Wrap-Up

You now know how to:
Export orders with custom date ranges
Filter by customer, channel, or Nectar involvement
Extract detailed discount, UTM, reward, and tag information
