# Review Request Reminder: Setup & Automation

## **Introduction**

The **Review Collection Reminder** feature is designed to automatically prompt customers to leave reviews after purchasing a product. By configuring smart reminders based on order status and timing, you can:
• Gather more authentic product reviews
• Enhance customer engagement
• Obtain valuable feedback to improve your offerings
This guide will help you set up reminder timings and notifications to ensure reviews are requested at the optimal time in the customer journey.


## **Step 1 - Open the Review Collect Reminder Section**

Navigate to the **Review Collect Reminder** section in your dashboard to start configuring your reminder settings. From the main menu:
• Click **Features**
• Then go to **Reminders**
• Locate **Review Request Reminder** in the list
• Click the **Configure** button to begin setting up your review reminder options.

## **Step 2 - Enable the Review Request Reminder** Feature

Activate this feature to allow reminders to be sent to customers who have made a purchase. It enables you to:
• Trigger reminders based on **order status**
• Control timing using a **specific timeframe**
• Maintain a consistent flow of product reviews over time

## **Step 3 - Review Reminder & Nudge Settings**

Once activated, options become available to:
• Enable **review collection notifications**
• Configure **nudge automation** (detailing how often and when reminders are sent

## **Step 4 - Choose the Trigger Order Status**

Decide which **order status** should trigger the review request reminder.

## **Step 5 - Recommended Statuses**

It is recommended to send review requests only after key order statuses, such as:
• **Paid**
• **Completed**
• **Delivered**
This practice ensures customers have received and experienced the product before being solicited for feedback.

## **Step 6 - Set the Delay After Status Update**

## **Step 7 - Configure First & Second Reminder Timings**

Define:
• The number of days before sending the **first review request**
• The total number of reminders to be sent
• The interval between reminders, such as a gap of 5 days for the second reminder on the 25th day.
Example scenario:
• Status = **Delivered & Completed**
• First reminder sent **20 days** after status update
• No. of reminders to be sent = 2
• Second reminder sent **5 days later**, on **Day 25**
Once all reminder settings (status, delay, number of reminders, interval) are configured, click **Save** to finalize the setup.
💡 *Tip:* Use the first reminder for a gentle nudge and the second as a final follow-up.

## **Step 8 - Open Create Notification**

Navigate to the **Create Notification** section. Here, you’ll find various notification types available for sending review reminders.

## **Step 10 - Use the Existing Email Template**

You will find a preconfigured **email template** designed for review collection reminders. This template encourages customers to leave feedback on their recent purchases.

## **Step 11 - Edit or Create a New Template**

You can:
• **Modify** the existing template to match your brand voice or
• **Create a new template** from scratch based on your needs

You have the option to modify the existing template or create a new one to meet your specific requirements.

## **Step 12 - Use the Pre-Existing Template**

Alternatively, you can proceed with the **pre-existing template** without making any changes if it already suits your requirements.

## **Step 13 - Create the Notification**

Click **Create** to finalize the email notification setup for review reminders. The email will now be sent according to the reminder logic you configured earlier.
