# How to Change Expiry of Generated Coupons?

|| By default the coupons expire after 15 days

Inorder to modify the default expiry of the generated coupons, kindly follow the below steps.

1. Go to [Redemption Rules](https://merchant.nector.io/programs/loyalty?int_tab=redemption_rules) tab inside the **Loyalty Settings** in the **Loyalty Program**

3. Select a redemption rule from the given rules

4. On the new page, find the **Advanced Settings** and click on it

5. Now, select the **Offer Settings** tab and look for the **Expire the generated coupons after** section

6. Enter the number of days you want the coupon to be active for after which it will expire

7. Click on the **Save** button

||| If you want to remove the expiry, you have to save the offer without any expiry

||| If expiry is updated for a redemption rule, the expiry of already generated coupons will not change
